Javier and Shannan Labrador are the visionary founders of 24/7 Marriage, an organization dedicated to restoring hope, redeeming stories, and building strong marriages. With 32 years of marriage experience, they bring authenticity, wisdom, and humor to their mission of transforming relationships.

A unique hallmark of their work is The Marriage Lab—a 38-ft. mobile marriage support 5th wheel that travels across the country, providing hands-on support and guidance to couples in need. Over the last 13 years, they have impacted thousands of marriages, earning them the title of the original "Marriage Flippers!"

Javier and Shannan are proud parents to two daughters, McKenna and Mikaela, and one epic son-in-law. As sought-after speakers, counselors, coaches, and authors of the upcoming book Confessions of a Terrible Wife, they are passionate about helping couples rewrite their stories and discover the deeper purpose of marriage: to honor God.

Their mantra, “In marriage, you don’t have to—you GET to,” reflects their belief that shifting perspective can transform relationships. Through weekly podcasts, resources, 24/7 Marriage Bootcamps, and national speaking engagements, the Labradors remain unwavering in their mission to strengthen marriages everywhere, and preserve the nuclear family.

Ann Burkhardt is probably the first person who will respond to you when you reach out to 24/7 Marriage. She’s all about the behind the scenes admin stuff and helps manage 24/7 Marriage Mini-Lab workshops and Bootcamps. She has been ministering alongside Javier & Shannan through 24/7 Marriage for the past 5 years. Ann has 41 years of administrative experience with eight of those years of working within church teams, managing an office of 21 staff members and leading a team of over 200 volunteers.

Ann is a marriage coach, along with her husband, Steve. They are SYMBIS, Prepare/Enrich certified, and members of Love & Respect. They are current members of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), and Ann is training in Mental Health Coaching programs through Light University for both adults and teens. Ann is an empath, by nature, so she deeply cares about people!

She is a University of Washington alumni and enjoys cheering on all their athletic teams. When she is not ministering through 24/7 Marriage or at church, she loves spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, and playing pickleball.

Steve Burkhardt is a contract painter by trade who volunteers his time and resources to 24/7 Marriage. He is married to Ann, our Bootcamp & Workshop Manager, and is the team’s Hospitality Director who travels to all our Bootcamps. He is the team’s extrovert and loves talking to people! If you’ve ever experienced one of our Bootcamps, you know that Steve is an expert with chopsticks and makes a mean made-to-order egg scramble! McKenna is a devoted wife to her best friend, Freddy, and a proud new mom living in sunny Arizona. Together, they enjoy savoring great food and hosting game nights with friends. McKenna is a creative and skilled social media manager, overseeing all platforms with passion and precision. With a love for connection and authenticity, she thrives in both her personal and professional life, building meaningful relationships and memories along the way.

Mikaela lives in sunny California and has a deep love for people. She began working with 24/7 in 2023 and brings her passion for hospitality to every Bootcamp. Attendees of these events get to experience Mikaela's heartfelt care for people and her love for great food. As the Hospitality Coordinator, she ensures every detail creates a welcoming environment. When she's not at a Bootcamp, Mikaela is serving at her church or exploring great coffee spots with friends.
